WHILE many others are fired with ambition to make name and be classified among the famous and rich, Mufutau Adams Adebola has opted to spend his life touching other lives positively.

To mark his 40th birthday, Adams, who holds a
First Class Degree in Computer Engineering from
the Obafemi Awolowo University, chose to
increase the number of beneficiaries of his
benevolence and launch Adams Educational
Foundation, the parent body of Adams College
through which many young people have found a
foothold for a bright and productive future.
The launch at Neniv Conference and Events
Centre recently was a good opportunity for
beneficiaries to comment on the institution,
Adams College.
Several of the beneficiaries who spoke glowingly
of the impact Adams College has had in their lives
include, a 200 level Law student of Obafemi
Awolowo University, Uche Okwuoha, a street-boy
who worked in a hotel until literally rescued by
Adams Adebola, Miss Oluwayemisi Olatunji, a
former Basic Science student of Obafemi Awolowo
University, now in Ukraine, as well as Christopher
Joseph, a First Class Mathematics graduate of
Obafemi Awolowo University.
It was also a great coming together for former
students of Adams College currently studying in
University of Lagos and University of Ilorin all of
who showered praises on Muftau Adams Adebola
and Adams College for the solid foundation they
received.
Speaking at the event, Adebola gave all the glory
to God who has brought him and the institution
thus far even as he described the launch Adams
Educational Foundation as a landmark
development.
He listed the major objectives of the foundation to
include: assisting students to achieve their
academic dreams, encourage hard work among
the students thereby creating a healthy rivalry,
stamping out mediocrity, checking by extension,
the rising spate of juvenile delinquency and
restoration of sanity and the lost glory in
education.
“Adams Education Foundation has come to effect
changes so that our community will be rid of
hooligans and thugs and other vices as sanity
should be restored, academic woes dethroned
while our academic environment is awash with
high-flyers that can walk tall any where in the
world.
“The vision is not to seek cheap popularity but to
actualize or midwife a baby of a divine mission,
nurtured by an unmitigated passion,” he said.
